Country Coach History
Country Coach dates back to 1973, when the company was called Country Campers. The first Country Coach Class A motorhome arrived in 1979. The first true luxury diesel pusher RV line followed in 1982. In 1983, Country Coach began building its Prevost Bus line.
Production of the Country Coach Magna started in 1992. The first Country Coach Affinity followed in 1993. The Country Coach Intrigue arrived in 1994, and the Country Coach Allure in 1995. All four were still in production in 2009.
In 1996, Country Coach added two more models. The Country Coach Tribute 260 was the lowest-priced Country Coach diesel of its time. The Country Coach Rhapsody 900 was one of the most luxurious fiberglass RVs ever built. In 1998, Country Coach celebrated its 25th anniversary. Many coaches built that year came as special edition models, and you can still find them on the used market.
The DynoMax Chassis
Country Coach began building its own chassis in 1996, called DynoMax. Most Country Coach RVs from model year 2000 and newer ride on a DynoMax chassis with an independent front suspension. That's part of why these coaches earned their reputation for ride quality in the luxury diesel segment.
