Motor Home Specialist offers Used American Tradition RVs for sale. The American Tradition was first made available in 1996 and is still going strong in the new 2010 American Tradition RV. The American Tradition has primarily been built on the Spartan Mountain Master chassis.
The 1996 American Tradition RV was available in just 1 floor plan, the 37TF with a 250HP diesel engine.
The 1997 American Tradition RV was offered in 5 different floor plans including four 38 foot models and a 40 foot model with slide out.
By the year 2001 the American Tradition RV was available in eight floor plans all with at least two slide-out rooms with the exception of one. They were also all 315 hp Cummins diesel engines.
In 2002 the American tradition RV was offered in five different floor plans. All 2002 American Tradition floor plans for 40 feet and leaned with two slides.
In 2003 the American Tradition RV was offered in six floor plans. All 2003 American Tradition motor homes were 40 foot floor plans with two slide-out rooms just as they were in the 2002 models. The exception to this was the 40T floor plan which was a 40 foot American Tradition RV with 3 slide out rooms.
The 2004 American Tradition RV was also available in eight floor plans however two of the American Tradition floor plans now had four slides for the first time in a American Tradition RV.
In 2005 the American Tradition RV had become so popular that American Coach offered the RV in fifteen different floor plans. Also for the first time the American Tradition was made available in a 42 foot floor plan that boasted a tag axle chassis, a 400 HP and four slide out rooms. This American Tradition was called the 42R.
In 2006 the American Tradition was offered only with a 400 hp diesel engine and now had to two 42 foot tag axle American Tradition models available.
By the year 2009 the American Tradition was made only available in 43 foot tag axle models. All late-model American Tradition RVs will feature luxury RV amenities such as full body paint, one-piece windshields, multiple slide-out rooms in the powerful 425 hp Cummins diesel engine. American Tradition RVs remain one of the most popular models in the American Coach line.
